Guidelines to apply for the tracks:
Green/Sustainable Business Plan – Making an impact to the environment
Women’s Economic Empowerment Business Plan – Expanding women’s economic opportunity or affecting women.
General Business Plan – All others

No Plagiarism
All submissions must be the original thoughts and works of the individual or team. By submitting an entry, you agree to abide by the rules above and certify that your entry is the product of your own work.

Deadlines are Final
All deadlines are final as of 11:59pm on the day indicated. We will email all applicants to update their status after the judges have made their decisions.

Eliminations
A panel of judges will choose the top 10 business plans in each category to compete against one another at The Next Great Entrepreneur Event in New Delhi, India in the spring of 2013. The top three in each category will advance to the final round. There is one final winner in each category.

Travel
The U.S. Embassy or FICCI cannot provide any stipend to fund travel costs to the final event in New Delhi. Each individual or team is responsible for bearing the cost of travel and accommodation (if needed) in New Delhi. Please remember, if selected as a finalist, at least one member of each team must be available to present the business plan at the final event. No exceptions will be made.
